Title: "Read Between the Lions"

This sculpture is a piece of public art created as part of the "Roaring Lions Project" in University City. It is one of nine uniquely painted lions that were exhibited and auctioned to support the restoration of the historic Lion Gates on Delmar Boulevard. I had the honor of painting this particular lion, which was originally displayed outside for public viewing and is now on permanent display inside the University City Public Library.
